My courses deal with two consistent streams of literature, political ecology and development theory. For example, I am currently course leader of 'Global Political Ecology' and contribute to
'The Making of Development: Histories, Theories, Practices and Futures' at the ISS.
Previously, I taught the following courses:
Northwestern:
- International Political Ecology
- Environmental Politics of the Middle East
Chicago:
- Is Development Sustainable?
- Global Environmental Politics
I have also taught in tailor-made courses as part of capacity-building programs in Indonesia (for WALHI) and in Ecuador (for past recipients of NUFFIC fellowships).
